1. Information You Provide

2. Bank Payments

Purchases are paid by bank (ACH) through our payment partner, Stripe, Inc. You link a bank account once, either by signing in to your bank through Stripe or by entering your account and routing numbers, which go directly to Stripe. coinpost never receives your bank login, and keeps only the bank’s name, the account type, the last four digits of the account number and Stripe’s reference to it. Your payments, refunds and (for sellers) payouts are recorded in your coinpost account history.

To pay sellers, Stripe asks sellers for identity and bank details when they set up payouts; that information goes to Stripe, and coinpost receives only whether payouts are ready and the payout bank’s name and last four digits. Stripe keeps a record of your payment authorization as banking rules require, and handles your information under its own privacy policy.

4. How We Use Information

5. How Information Is Shared

Certain information is inherently shared as part of using a marketplace:

We also share information with service providers who help us run the Service, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, and backend functions), Stripe (bank account linking, bank payments, refunds and seller payouts), Didit (identity verification for sellers) and a shipping-rate provider (label purchase and tracking). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Advertising

The app may display ads served through Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads where possible. Google's use of information is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations (for example, records of completed sales). You can request deletion of your account as described below.

8. Your Choices

9. Children's Privacy

coinpost is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including those provided by Firebase, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

To protect accounts and payments from automated abuse, the Service uses Google reCAPTCHA. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll provide notice on the website or in the app. Your continued use of coinpost after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
